Anomalous Materials

Built for the single player Half-Life 2 modification Black Mesa (Source), which has tasked itself with the ambitious goal of re-imagining Half-Life 1 with a substantial face lift. Unfortunately, I had to drop out of the project to focus on my schoolwork.

I authored most of the environment textures (see below) as well as all of level architecture and lighting. Props and other textures are a mix of stock Valve assets / custom assets made by the team.

Here are some of the textures I made. I watermark them only because there've been some problems with the mod content showing up in other peoples' work without the team's permission.

Note: If you happen to be a fan of the mod, keep in mind that the final product will likely look substantially different from my original work - don't take these screenshots as an indication of the project's progress.
